Every company has a moment that changes everything. For us, it was the London 2012 Olympics.

Before London
2012 Olympics

Before that, we were ActiveConnex — a company with deep roots in on-street parking management. We knew our way around permit systems, council contracts, and the steady, if unglamorous, world of paid parking. We were good at it. But we hadn’t yet found the thing that would make us leap out of bed in the morning.

Then came the tender for the Olympic Games. We were an unlikely candidate – our experience was in car parks and council schemes, not global sporting events. But we won it, and suddenly we found ourselves managing over 90,000 parking permits for one of the most watched events on the planet.

It changed us completely.

There’s something about events that’s impossible to describe until you’ve been inside one. For the organisers, this is the culmination of years of planning, passion, and pressure. Every bus, every vehicle, every movement matters. And we were part of making it work. It was a world away from council parking — and we never looked back.

EventFalcon grew directly from that experience. The name changed. The focus sharpened. And we threw ourselves into the events world with the same energy we found there.

That’s still at the heart of what we do. We’re not the biggest name on the event poster. We’re the unsung heroes making sure everything runs behind the scenes. Event organisers don’t just need technology — they need people who know what they’re doing, who care about the outcome as much as they do, and who will be there at whatever hour it takes.

Today, EventFalcon works with some of the world’s most demanding events — from major motorsport championships and American Football to the Winter Olympics and international conferences. Our primary focus is GPS tracking of vehicles and buses, tightly integrated with the operational needs of each event. We deliver real-time reporting on the day, and detailed post-event analysis covering utilisation, sustainability, and performance — the data that helps organisers understand what happened and plan what comes next.

From a parking permit system in East London to the pit lanes of the world’s greatest motorsport events – it’s been quite a journey. And the best part? Every event still feels like the first one.
